The 2021 Malbec was harvested from Stagecoach Vineyard on September 27th and October 9th of 2021. The fruit was gently destemmed and then pumped to tank. It was fermented on the skins for 10-14 days and then drained at the completion of alcoholic fermentation. After draining it was racked to 55% new French for ageing. It was then racked quarterly for the first year before being racked to tank in April for bottling.
