The 2021 Titus Lot 1 is a robust concentrated wine filled with depth and layers redolent of our favorite past Lot 1’s. The aromas are packed with blueberry, blackberry, chocolate, purple flowers and lingering leather and earth notes that give the bouquet a lifted finish. Rich and dark on entry the flavors fill the palate with cassis, dark berry compote, mocha and cherry cola with a melted down mouthcoating texture. The tannins have a pleasant grip with enough polish to help the wine glide to the finish with notes of lilac, cedar, and radiant warm toast. Enjoy 2024-2038.
Sourced from the Sugarloaf Vineyard, the Sophomore effort of our Imperatus Cabernet Sauvignon is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. 2021 Imperatus is vibrant and showy from the start with aromas of blueberry, mulberry, espresso, lilac, toasted sage, and black raspberry. The inky palate is generous without heaviness, tension from fresh acidity lead to melted tannins with a pleasant grip. Blue fruits and a pleasant floral note give way to oak spice on the lingering finish. Enjoy 2026-2045.
