2022 Malbec

The 2022 Malbec has a beautiful bouquet with pomegranate, raspberry, boysenberry, violets, and hints of vanilla. The silky-smooth entry leads to a seamless palate with fine tannins that give the wine a sleek structure and a core of delicious fruit. Black cherry, blackberry preserves, and mulberry greet your palate as they fade to warm spice flavors and a toasty crème brulee note on the finish. Enjoy through 2036.

The 2022 Malbec was harvested from Stagecoach Vineyard on September 17th and 23rd of 2022.  The fruit was gently destemmed and then pumped to tank.  It was fermented on the skins for 10-14 days and then drained at the completion of alcoholic fermentation.  After draining it was racked to 55% new French for ageing.  It was then racked quarterly for the first year before being racked to tank in April for bottling.
