2021 Catie's Corner Viognier

Exotic plumeria, jasmine, guava, lychee, and orange zest aromas leap from the glass, with additional notes of clove and apricot adding nuance. On the palate, flavors of cantaloupe, stone fruits, peach skin, feijoa, pineapple, and perfume are underscored by a silky-smooth texture that coats the mouth while adding length and lushness. The finish is satisfying and lasting with lingering notes of enticing tropical spice and rose.

The 2021 Catie's Corner Viognier was picked September 3rd, 2021. It was whole cluster pressed and allowed to settle for two days before being racked to barrel. The juice was then inoculated and barrel fermented. Used French Oak were used to ferment and age the wine. The wine has undergone no malo-lactic fermentation.
After 6 months of aging the barrels were racked to tank and blended for cold stabilization in preparation for bottling.
