The 2018 Malbec was harvested from Beckstoffer Melrose Vineyard on September 28th and Stagecoach Vineyard October on 24th of 2018. The fruit was gently destemmed and then pumped to tank. It was fermented on the skins for 10-14 days and then drained at the completion of alcoholic fermentation. After draining it was racked to 55% new French and Hungarian Oak for ageing. It was then racked quarterly for the first year before being racked to tank in May for bottling.
