Come to Judd’s Hill Winery and experience the early stages of winemaking first hand. After red grapes are fermented, they go into the press. Here, the winemaker must decide how much pressure to apply and how to blend juice extracted at different pressures. During our Friends at Harvest open house, you will have the opportunity to sample different “press-cuts” of newly fermented wine. By tasting samples ranging from “free run” juice all the way to “heavy press”, you’ll really see the difference a little pressure can make. We will also have our current release wines available for tasting, so you can enjoy the finished product!

Salvestrin opens their winery doors for guests of the exclusive Friends at Harvest fall promotion to have the ultimate wine country experience of delicious Cabernet Sauvignon thieved right out of the barrels! Rich & Shannon Salvestrin will be your hosts and will take you through an educational barrel tasting of Salvestrin Estate Wines. Continue on to our second floor tasting room overlooking our beautiful 26 acre historic estate vineyard to sample our current release wines while enjoying delicious cheeses paired with each wine.

There is a lot to celebrate at Schweiger Vineyards. This is the 25th Anniversary Harvest! Please join the entire Schweiger Family on top of their mountain estate and take in the breath taking views of the valley floor as we enjoy our estate wines. This will be an extraordinary event for our Friends at Harvest to learn about wine made from mountain fruit at a 2,000 foot elevation. Fred Schweiger will guide you through his vineyards; while son and winemaker, Andrew, discusses his wines …along with the rest of the family, Diana and Sally. We will offer a variety of homemade food pairings with our wines. The biggest treat of all, you will see some aspect of winemaking and the 2008 production… live!

Arrive at Titus Vineyards during our Friends at Harvest open house and experience a guided walk through our estate vineyard along the Silverado Trail. In the vineyard, we will chat about our viticultural practices and expand your insight into the art and science of growing amazing grapes. Since our estate (aka the Ranch House) is closed to the public, this open house is a great opportunity for us to roll out the red carpet and show you some of the little details and our hard work behind the scenes at Titus Vineyards.
