 Awarded 90 Points by Robert Parker. 90% Zinfandel, 10% Petite Sirah. The 1999 Zinfandel exhibits all of the concentration and unique varietal character found in Zinfandel from an excellent vintage. Black berry, red currants, and spicy/briary notes highlight the nose. The mouth is rich and smooth with layers of super ripe fruit, chocolate and creamy American oak. Tannins add the fullness and structure in the mouth feel yet remain in the background.As a Library Selection, this wine is available exclusively to members of Titus Vineyards Wine Club. |
