 Awarded 91 Points by Robert Parker. 85% Zinfandel, 15% Petite Sirah. The 1999 Redwood Valley Zinfandel displays jammy blackberry and black cherry fruit along with complex notes of violets in the nose. The fruit is accompanied by rich tones of chocolate, roasted coffee and plenty of spicy American oak. Already, the mouth is smooth and velvety with layers of super ripe berries, toasty oak and cracked black pepper.As a Library Selection, this wine is available exclusively to members of Titus Vineyards Wine Club. |
